The latest in Macallan s wonderful Editions releases is most certainly a worthy addition. Their openness in information is to be applauded too, not only to us as their customers but to you too. If you look at the bottom of the label you can discover the number of casks used; number of casks vatted to create this edition and the specific colour tint (burnished Copper for those of you intrigued) To whet your appetite further here are the tasting notes we have received- the whisky shows Nutmeg with wood spices and green cloves open up immediately, with a calm following the intense beginnings, leaving a sweet and vanilla viscous mouth coating. It s an intense and invigorating mouth feel, as if standing on top of the of the new distillery roof in the Speyside breeze!

Product Description

The Macallan Estate is some 360 hectares in size and stunning to boot. The whiskies themselves have long been those of great distinction and full of character. At the heart of their creation is the Estate s own Minstrel Barley and the smallest stills in Speyside. Both go to ensure the house s signature rich, fruity and full flavours are ever present. If you ever come across an old Scottish 10 note, you will spot these very stills which appeared on the back of the note for a number of years.
