Talisker 1978 – The Bodega Series 41 Year Old Whisky, 70 cl Supply

Description
An exciting and exceptional bottling from Talisker, this is the second release in the Bodega series from the Island distillery. It was distilled all the way back in 1978, when Bee Gees Night Fever was number one in the charts, just to give you a feel. Then, it was aged in refill American oak barrels before it was treated to a finishing period in six Manzanilla sherry casks over 100 years old from Delgado Zuleta, one of Jerez s oldest sherry producers. Eventually, once it reached the ripe old age of 41 years, the whisky was bottled at 50.7% ABV, in a release of 2,000 limited bottles. The maritime and fruity single malt also comes accompanied by a very stylish presentation case.
